Kris Jenner has revealed the inspiration behind Kim and Kanye West’s son Psalm West’s name. Kim Kardashian’s mother opened up about her grandson, the newest addition to the family while attending the 2019 Fresh Air Fund Spring Benefit with boyfriend Corey Gamble on Wednesday night (May 22) in New York City.
The 63-year-old reality star revealed that the inspiration behind Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s son Psalm’s name, saying;
“The inspiration was the Book of Psalms in the Bible,” Kris shared.
“I think it’s just a wonderful way to celebrate how they feel. And he’s such a blessing, so it’s perfect.”
The biblical meaning of the name Psalm means “sacred song or hymn.”
You may recall that Kim and Kanye West welcomed their fourth child via a surrogate mother earlier this month, May 10th. In sweet Mother’s Day message, Kanye shared the first photo of baby Psalm.
The newborn was carried by a different surrogate mother and not the same one that carried her third child, Chicago who is now 1 year old.
Kim and Kanye were at the hospital with the surrogate to welcome their newborn. The proud parents were said to have used a leftover embryo they created to bring this newest baby to life.
