The LGBTQ community on Twitter is up with a new tag to sensitize Nigeria and the world at large on how much damage Homophobia has inflicted on them than Good.
#EndHomophobiaInNigeria is currently high up on the Nigerian Twitter trend table with queer individuals pouring their hearts out while homophobes on the other hand are attacking and trying to socialize them to silence.
This protest kicked off shortly after news of how two men brutally murdered a gay man in IMO state made the headlines yesterday (Read Here).
“Nobody should be killed or mistreated the way that gay man was treated. I can only hope the perpetrators of this inhumane act face the full wrath of the Law” a social media user had tweeted using the #EndHomophobiaInNigeria hashtag.
