Ex reality star, media personality and activist, Natacha akide popularly known as Tacha has taken to her official media handle to address the sudden increase in the price of petrol.
The buhari led administration made a sudden announcement early hours of Friday, the 12th day of march, 2021 that the price of petrol has increased and will be sold for N212. The announcement was heavily criticized by nigerians as it was sudden and it wasn’t necessary considering the hardship brought by the corona virus.
Media personalities, OAP’s, Media Users all too to their respective social media handles to kick against the increase. Tacha who has always been an active voice against the ills of the government also had a say over the issue.
According to her, the people has lost their hopes and respect for the buhari led administration from the way they handle the affairs of the nation.
“Majority has lost the tiniest bit of hope and respect for this administration, only those who benefit from this madness can be seen uplifting this terrible administration,
This is not what we bargained for, we wanted POSITIVE CHANGE.
They promised us Change, but we are worse than we were when it all began! I weep💔” – Tacha.
In another tweet she called out the government over its inadequacies in putting more efforts to have a working refinery.
“Na ment!! Make all of us dey suffer dey go! The target is N500 per liter! Then our messiah Dangote will come and sell to us @ 350 so let’s not complain too much!

In a viral video which is making rounds, tacha further slammed the buhari led administration over its inability to take care of its citizens. She said we might be independent as a county but how sure are we as a people. According to her, we are the largest crude producing nation and yet we can’t help the people.
“The government doesn’t hesitate to place an increment in the things that we the citizens need to survive but yet an average nigerian doesn’t earn well in their place of work.
